Education Volunteer Program
Volunteering with the Education Program is an easy way to become involved with the Independent School District. Volunteers are not required to have a specific educational background, although volunteers are encouraged to share any qualifications or areas of interests they have. Each year volunteers contribute more than 100,000 hours of service to the Independent School District.

Food Pantry Program
The Food Pantry Program is the leading hunger relief organization in the greater metro area, serving the 1 in 8 community members who experience the daily hardships of food and nutrition insecurity. Our mission is to provide healthy food to individuals, children, families, seniors and veterans who otherwise might go without.

Parks & Rec Program
The Parks & Rec Program offers volunteers a variety of ways to get involved. This program is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, or anyone who appreciates our city park.

Shelter Support Program
Our Shelter Support Program is focused on creating a safe, caring, supportive environment for homeless shelter guests. The volunteers help the shelter staff and give informal support to shelter guests.
